Day 1 : Arrival – Srinagar – Local Sightseeing Tours

Arrival at Srinagar Airport you will be met by our Representative. Transfer to Hotel/Houseboat which is already booked for you.

Later on visit the famous Mughal gardens, Chashmashahi or The Royal Spring, Nishat Bagh or Garden of Pleasure, Shalimar Bagh or Garden of Love.

Evening enjoy Shikara Ride on Famous Dal Lake. No experience defines romanticism more than taking a Shikara ride on the serene waters of the Dal Lake. Passing lotuses floating on the Dal Lake will surely add to the moment.
Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the Houseboat/hotel in Leh.
Day 2 : Srinagar – Sonmarg – Kargil via Zojila Pass

After a delicious breakfast proceed for Kargil which is 204 kilometers from Srinagar. After 2 hrs journey you will reach Sonmarg (The Meadow of Gold) famous for its Landscape and snowcapped high peaks. Enjoy tea/Lunch and take some photos. Get ready for more adventurous drive through Zojila pass which is 3900 mts above the sea level and is the highest pass between Srinagar and Kargil road. This road remains open from April till Nov and it’s the only road which connects Kargil, Zanaskar & Ladakh with Kashmir valley. Continue driving towards Kargil, you will pass through several villages and within next 3 – 4 hrs you will be in Drass Village which is said to be the 2nd coldest place on earth after Siberia in Russia. Also make a stop at Vijay War Memorial to pay homage to the brave hearts of Indian Army. By the evening, you will reach Kargil

Day 3 : Kargil – Leh via Fotula Pass

After a delicious breakfast drive to Leh to ascend three major passes. You first stop is at Mulbekh Buddhist village, visit the ancient rock cut statue of Maitreya Buddha. Proceed further towards Lamayuru through Namiki la Pass (3700 mts) and Fotu la Pass 13749 ft on Srinagar Leh route.

At lunch time we will be at Lamayuru oldest monastery. Later stop for photo at lunar like landscapes near Lamayuru Monastery. Continue drive to next village Nimu a view point of Zanskar river following into Indus also known as Sangam. Final stop make at Magnetic hill is a gravity hill having magnetic properties to pull cars uphill and force passing aircraft to increase their altitude in order to escape magnetic interference. Finally arrive at Leh 3500 Mtrs.

Day 4 : Leh – Local Sightseeing

After a delicious breakfast proceed for local sightseeing of Hall of fame (A Museum built by Indian Army) visit Gurdwara Pathar Sahib which was built in 1517 in the memory of Guru Nanak.

Shanti Stupa is situated on a hilltop in Chanspa built in 1991 by Japanese Buddhist Bhikshu Gyomyo Nakamura. Shanti stupa provides beautiful and panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. Shanti Stupa in Ladakh was built to promote world peace and a symbol of the ties between Japan and Ladakh.

3 Idiots School: The school was featured in a 2007 episode as the Aamir Khan movie 3 Idiots. The school, where some parts of the 3-Idiots film was shot, is supported by international donors as well as Indian celebrities like actor Ameer Khan.

Thiksey: Spectacularly sighted, Thiksey is one of the largest and architecturally most impressive gompa. There are several temples in this gompa, containing images stupas and wall painting of Buddha’s which are exquisite.

Day 5 : Leh – Nubra Valley via Khardungla Top

Early morning you will leave for jungle safari in Bandhavgarh National Park, wherein you will do tiger sighting. This reserve is famous for leopards, deer, elephants and other animals. On completion of jungle safari, you will return to the resort for breakfast and short relax. Later after having lunch, you will again leave for jungle safari in Bandhavgarh National Park. Return to resort for comforting overnight stay.
Day 6 : Nubra Valley – Leh via Khardungla Top

After delicious breakfast drive to Leh enroute Sightseeing of Statue of Mytriya Buddha in Diskit.
Diskit Monastery is the oldest and largest in the region. Close to the Monastery lies an impressive statue of Jampa Buddha. This Statue has become one of the prime attractions for tourists and is deeply appreciated for its architecture. Facing the Shyok River, the statue sits tall with a height of 32 meters. Then drive to Leh via Khardungla Pass.

Day 7 : Leh – Pangong Lake via Changla Pass

After a delicious breakfast drive to Pangong Lake for 01 night stay. Enroute visit to Shey Palace the former summer palace of the King of Ladakh and erstwhile royal residence of the Ladakh monarchs, is the main attraction.
Continue drive to Pangong Lake via Changla Pass (17,586 feet) third highest pass of the world and drive through Durbuk and Tangtse village situated in the Changthang region of Ladakh. Pangong Lake is salt water, 120 km in length and 6 – 7 Km broad at the longest point. It is bisected by the international border between India & China. Visit the exact location of the famous movie “Three idiots” & enjoy outing along the banks of the lake. One really feels very close to nature at Pangong Lake with its scenic surroundings. Drive back to Leh.

Day 8 : Pangong Lake – Leh via Changla Pass

During early morning, you can enjoy a photo – session around the lake. Post breakfast drive back to Leh through Changla Pass.

Day 9 : Departure from Leh; End of Tour
