Day 1: Delhi Arrival
Welcome to India! Upon arrival at the airport in Delhi, you will be met by your tour guide and transferred to your hotel. Delhi is a bustling metropolis that serves as the capital of India.
After check-in and some time to relax, you will embark on a guided tour of Old Delhi. This historic district is full of narrow alleyways and bustling markets. You will explore the Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India, and the Raj Ghat, a memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi.
You will also enjoy a rickshaw ride through the crowded streets of Chandni Chowk. This is an excellent way to experience the hustle and bustle of Old Delhi.
In the evening, you will return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Delhi – Agra
Delhi, the capital of India, is a bustling metropolis with a rich history. Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan built the beautiful Taj Mahal in memory of his late wife Mumtaz Mahal. Today, the Taj Mahal is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world.
After exploring Delhi, you will travel to Agra, where you will see the Taj Mahal up close. The Taj Mahal is truly a sight to behold and is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. You will also visit the Agra Fort, which was built by Mughal Emperor Akbar in the 16th century.
On your way back to Delhi, you will stop at Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage site that was once the capital of the Mughal Empire. Fatehpur Sikri is home to some of the most impressive architecture from the Mughal era.
Day 3: Agra and the Taj Mahal
After breakfast at your hotel, you’ll drive to Agra, home of the world-famous Taj Mahal. Upon arrival, you’ll visit the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. This magnificent mausoleum was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his late wife Mumtaz Mahal. You’ll also visit the Agra Fort, another UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Later in the day, you’ll return to your hotel in Jaipur for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Jaipur, City Tour and Shopping
After breakfast at the hotel, you will start your city tour of Jaipur. Some of the places you will visit include the City Palace, Hawa Mahal, and Jantar Mantar. You will also have some time to go shopping in the local markets.
In the evening, you can enjoy a traditional Rajasthani dinner with a folk dance performance. You will overnight at your hotel in Jaipur.
Day 5: Udaipur, City Tour, Caves, Monkeys & Fateh Sagar Lake
After breakfast, enjoy a city tour of Udaipur. The first stop will be at the City Palace Museum which is located inside the City Palace complex.
Next, visit the Jagdish Temple which is one of the most important Hindu temples in Udaipur. Then, head to the Sahelion Ki Bari which is a garden that was built for the queen and her maids.
After lunch, visit the Gol Gumbaz and the Bharatiya Lok Kala Museum. The Gol Gumbaz is the mausoleum of Muhammad Adil Shah and it has seven stories. The Bharatiya Lok Kala Museum is a folk art museum that has a collection of puppets, masks, and musical instruments.
In the evening, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola. You will get to see the sunset over the lake and the city skyline. The boat ride will end at the Gangaur Ghat where you can see people taking a dip in the holy waters of the lake.
Day 6: Mumbai Departure
